Well, it is trick this one. But in english there is no such word that means exactly what “Saudade” (pt-BR) does.
If I say, “I Miss you” would mean some like, you are not here is there is a lack of you presence.
“Saudade” would be more like, you are not here and I’m dying inside without you, just can’t take you out of my mind. It’s not just a word, it’s a feeling.
Not sure if I could define the difference here…. but I believe was close enough to understand this:
Cousin….. I don’t miss you….. Eu sinto saudades….
